JIN Tokyo Japanese Language School has prepared the following courses according to the level, goals, and desires of the students.The course schedule is as follows.
In the morning, there are mainly classes for school admissions courses as well as intermediate and advanced courses, and in the afternoon, there are often classes for beginner and intermediate courses.
Challenging-university admission course (1 year starting in April)
・Acquire score of 330 or more on Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
・Pass N1 Japanese Language Proficiency Test
・Eligibility for challenging-universities

・Passed N3 or have similar Japanese ability
・Students desiring to enter college/university
April to September
July to September
・Practice various questions in the EJU.
・Solve a collection of practical problems with aim of passing N2.
・Write one or two 400-character writings a week to improve thinking and writing skills.
・Implement an interview preparation class for university entrance exams to improve conversation skills.
・One-by-one introduction of N1-level characters, vocabulary, and grammar with exercises for memorization.
・Practice questions on previous university entrance examinations.
・Start essay preparation.
・Continue practicing questions for the EJU.
・Continue practicing interviews.
・Determination of target universities at the individual level based on the results of the EJU in June.
October to December
・Solve a collection of practical problems with aim of passing N1 proficiency test.
・Continue practicing questions on previous university entrance examinations.
・Approaches for writing before and preparing essays after the EJU.
・Continue practicing questions for the EJU.
・Conduct interviews individually based on the entrance examination schedule of each student.
January to March
・Use of advanced-level textbook to improve overall skills.
・Approaches for listening comprehension, presentations, work, etc., in preparation for university classes.
Language training course (1 year starting in April)
・To pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JPLT)
・To comprehensively improve the four core skills (listening comprehension, reading, speaking, and writing)
・To learn Japanese culture and broaden your horizons
・Students desiring language training who will return to their home country after completion
・One-by-one introduction, practice, and memorization of characters, vocabulary, and grammar for the proficiency test.
・Solve a collection of practical problems with aim of passing proficiency test.
・Opportunities to experience and learn Japanese culture are available about once every 2 weeks.
April to September
July to September
・Continued study of the characters, vocabulary, and grammar of the proficiency test.
・Study using intermediate-level textbook to improve overall skills.
・Experience seasonal Japanese culture such as by wearing a yukata.
・Continued study of the characters, vocabulary, and grammar of the proficiency test.
・Solve a collection of practical problems with aim of passing proficiency test.
・Continued use of intermediate-level textbook to improve overall skills.
・Experience lessons held on current popular topics in Japan.
October to December
・Continued study of the characters, vocabulary, and grammar of the proficiency test.
・Separate from textbooks, students will be exposed to Japanese that is actually read and listened to by Japanese people, such as that in manga and TV programs, with commentary by the instructors to help the students understand the contents.
・Learn Japanese songs and perform them at the graduation ceremony.
January to March
Beginner and Intermediate courses (starts in April, July, October, January)
・To learn the basics of Japanese
・To comprehensively improve the four core skills
・Beginner level Japanese
・Review of beginner Japanese grammar, bridging to intermediate level
・Learn basic Japanese, including hiragana and katakana, greetings, and fundamental conversation

Intermediate and advanced courses (Starts in April, July, October, and January)
・To pass JLPT N3 to N1
・To comprehensively improve the four core skills
・Intermediate Japanese level or above
・We aim to comprehensively improve the four core skills by using intermediate and advanced content for each theme.
・Every three semesters, an aptitude test is conducted and, separate from the regular classes, students are assigned to a proficiency test preparation class tailored to the individual student. In that class, you will learn characters/vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension to pass the JLPT.
・From April to July and from October to November, the above classes will be used to solve proficiency test problems in a practical format.
・Appropriate training on interview manners for vocational school and university entrance examinations.
・From July to September and from January to March, students study in an elective class for two hours a week. Students can choose from a variety of classes, including conversation, kanji, Japanese culture, Japanese songs, and reading materials.
